Believe the Hype
The National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) is pleased to host its 47th Annual NOMA Conference and Exposition in Brooklyn, New York on October 16 – 20, 2019. The conference will be held at the spacious and contemporary New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge, within close proximity to the vibrant neighborhoods of DUMBO and Ft. Greene. Featuring a host of events designed to showcase the diverse Brooklyn community, all will get a taste of Brooklyn’s local flavor and far-reaching appeal.
This year’s theme is Believe the Hype: A Global Collective of Industry Change Agents. This one of a kind annual conference brings together building industry thought leaders, future architects, and shining stars of the design, real estate, planning and construction industries under one roof to experience all that Brooklyn has to offer.
Each year, 900+ minority architects, students, urban designers, community activists and building industry professionals from across the country come together in fellowship for the annual NOMA Conference. This year, nycoba|NOMA, the NYC chapter of NOMA is excited to celebrate the rich history and success of our chapter, accomplished members, and beloved borough of Brooklyn. This year’s theme is Believe the Hype: A Global Collective of Industry Change Agents. We are looking forward to the opportunity to showcase not only what Brooklyn has to offer, but also what NOMA is doing on a national level, with nearly 30 chapters around the country and growing influence in our industry.
